Bahby Banks presented at the National Center for Minority Health and Health Disparities Summit located in National Harbor in Maryland in December 2008. Her oral presentation was entitled "HIV/AIDS Stigma as a Barrier to Recruitment in AIDS Clinical Trials in Rural Southeastern Communities in the United States". She also presented a poster entitled "Roles and Functions of Community Advisory Boards (CABs): A Case Study of Working with CABs on HIV Research".

Bahby Banks will present as part of an oral session entitled "Rural and Urban Health" at the 30th Annual Minority Health Conference at UNC Chapel Hill on Friday, February 27, 2009. Additionally she will have a poster presentation entitled, "Using the Intervention Mapping Approach to Develop Community-Based Intervention to Increase Rural Racial and Ethnic Minority Enrollment in HIV/AIDS Clinical Trials".
